Certificate in Study Skills for Higher Education is a 1 Year (40 credits) Level 6 course in Waterford Institute Technology.
The Certificate in Study Skills for Higher Education aims to provide adult learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence necessary to succeed and flourish in their undergraduate study at WIT. The programme is aimed at adults who have been away from formal education for a long time or who did not complete a Leaving Certificate. It is also aimed at applicants whose skills no longer allow them to access the labour market and for adultlearners from overseas who wish to gain entry to undergraduate programmes at WIT. The programme supports and facilitates adult learners to identify and choose the undergraduate
programme that best suits their own abilities, competences and interests.

Entry Requirements and How to Apply?
• Applicants must be 23 years or older as of 1 January 2018.
• International applicants must have an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent in English
• Applicants will be invited to attend an interview for the programme.
