Course Fees:€790 approximately, payable in two instalments, which includes DES PLC levy of €200, FETAC(QQI) examination fee of €50, weekly use of the local swimming pool, First Aid course, RLSS Lifeguard, FAI coaching course and student service charge of €700 approximately for those students not taking their RLSS Lifeguard Exams. Costs may be subject to change.
A student who has a current valid Medical Card or is eligible for SUSI or BTEI Grant or is a VTOS student is exempt from the €200 Government Levy and the FETAC(QQI) examination fee.
Under 23 – Leaving Certificate (Grade C minimum in Ordinary Level English or Irish, and grade D minimum in Ordinary Level Mathematics is necessary for those pursuing study in IT Carlow)
No requirements for over 23s; offer of a place is based on the outcome of an interview.

Entry to 1st year Science Courses in WIT:
Students can apply for entry to BSc in Science, BSc in Food Science with Business and BSc in Forestry courses in WIT. To qualify for a place an applicant must achieve an overall pass on this course and attend at a WIT Induction day in late spring/early summer of entry year. Entry to Aberystwyth University, Wales
Following a very encouraging two day visit to Aberystwyth University, in October 2013, an agreement between EVC and the university was finalised in May 2014. This new prestigious link will enable students of this course who successfully achieve an agreed standard, to apply for courses in Sport and Exercise Science, Psychology, etc. Successful applicants will be treated similarly to Welsh students and can also apply for maintenance grants and bursaries to assist them while studying in Aberystwyth.
