Course Content: The course prescribed by The Irish Academy of Public Relations covers the key elements of journalism and teaches you how to write news stories, feature articles, press releases, colour pieces, blogs and interviews. How to research, keep contact books and find sources of information. You will learn about journalistic codes of ethics, the power of language and important legal areas like slander and libel.
