This course aims to enhance students’ knowledge of the best current practice in highly regulated modern manufacturing facilities. This 40 credit Minor Award is delivered in blended learning mode. Most training takes place through work based learning supported through in-company mentoring, online learning plus some face to face lectures in WIT.

Opportunities

On successful completion of the certificate, graduates may progress to the Higher Certificate in Engineering in Manufacturing Technology.

Entry Requirements

Leaving Certificate or equivalent. Students over 23 years of age may be exempted from this requirement if they can demonstrate that they are suitable candidates for the course of study. Please see more information on Entry Requirements in the Student Information section.

Cost €330 per 10 credit, €1320 in total

Cost, if eligible for bursary scheme €250 per 10 credit module, €1000 in total
