If you are new to the Apple Mac operating system then this essential skills course will help you learn the basics quickly and effectively, and help you understand the OS X operating system.  This is an introductory course and is suited from those who are comfortable using a PC, but want to be introduced to the world of Mac.

  • The OS X desktop, the Dock, customising your Mac
  • Windows, using the Finder, and Applications, Using preview
  • Working with files
  • Apple menu, switching between applications and multiple desktops
  • Apple applications
  • Using the Safari web browser
  • Printing
  • Networks: Connecting to WiFi and the web
  • Storing and synching files using iCloud
  • OS X security and privacy
  • Using the App Store
  • Recommended Apps / Utilities

 

Delivery: 6 weeks, Tuesday 7-9pm
