This level 5 programme was devised for support staff from a variety of different backgrounds in the HSE/Healthcare sector. It offers students an opportunity to upskill with a qualification required for many health care support staff. This programme is suitable for people who want to work in the health services field.
This is a 1 year full-time course leading to a QQI level 5 qualification.

Career Options
Graduates of this course may pursue careers in the caring field as care assistants, home carers or support staff in health care facilities and residential care facilities. This course is recognised internationally allowing graduates to work in Ireland or abroad.
