QQI level 4 in Youth Train, Wexford. Priority Learners- High: 16-21 years without formal qualifications or Junior Cert. with foundation level Maths/English. Medium: 16-21 years with a Junior Cert or LCA.
Short Order Cooking, meal Service, Communications, Kitchen Skills, Work Experience, Customer Service, Personal & Interpersonal Development, Career Planning, First Aid and Fire Safety. Work based training.
Learner Supports: Each learner is supported holistically through Individual Learning Plans and Progression Plans.
Literacy & Numeracy are integrated across learning areas in the Centre.
Supported Work Experience is an element of all programmes.
Training Allowance, Travel and Childcare supports may also be available.
Referrals: Youth Train CTC has the capacity for 40 young learners. When contacted we will send an application form to be returned with a copy of any formal exams. We will follow up with a meeting with the applicant and referring agency where appropriate. .
