This module is suitable for those who work with or intend to work within homeless and/or drug services and those engaged in community development. The module will equip the student with the competencies and knowledge necessary to meet the various needs of substance users and to assist them in making choices regarding treatment options.

Certification: FETAC Level 5 Record of Achievement

• Understanding addiction and dependency.
• Health Issues.
• Engagement skills and interventions.
• Attitudes.
