This course is designed for the student who wants to develop a professional practise in Visual Arts.  The course structure fosters creativity, self motivation, planning and problem solving.  The students will organise and present their work in a professional art space during the year.  On completion of the course, applicants can apply to third level art courses or work as a practising artist.

This is a 1 year full-time course leading to QQI Level 6 Award.

Certification QQI Level 6 (6M4029)

Entry Requirements Applicants should have successfully completed a relevant QQI Level 5 award or have relevant experience in the arts section. Applicants may bring to the interview a strong, well organised Portfolio including sketchbooks. Entry is based on interview.
