BA Applied Social Studies in Social Care is a 3 year level 7 part time course in Waterford Institute Technology.

On successful completion of this course, graduates will be qualified to work in a wide range of Social Care settings, including working with children, in family support, community development, care of the elderly and with people with special needs. Given the nature of this work, applicants should give serious consideration to their personal interest and suitability to this type of challenging work.
